Don’t Prove A Point, Prove Yourself!

It is an utter waste of time and energy to feel bad when people don’t seem to believe in you. If they didn’t believe their Maker until He showed them signs and wonders, what makes you think they would just shower their confidence in you without a show of what you can do?

You can learn a lot by simply studying the Bible. You can learn patterns and methods of how the world operates by paying attention to the events that were recorded in the Scriptures. The Bible says in John 2:11,

“What Jesus did here in Cana of Galilee was the first of the signs through which he revealed his glory; and his disciples believed in him.”

And later in verse 23, it was recorded that,

“Now while he was in Jerusalem at the Passover Festival, many people saw the signs he was performing and believed in his name.”

You must give people what to see before they believe, that’s the order, and even Jesus confirmed it,

“Unless you people see signs and wonders,” Jesus told him, “you will never believe.” John 4:48

Naturally, the world is wired to see before they believe, that’s why the focus must first be on yourself becoming the best you possible. If you are looking or waiting for the applause of the world without seeing your applaudable performance, then you have enrolled for disappointment.

It is only a man that has no self to prove that has the time to prove a point. Jesus was busy proving Himself through the manifestations of His glory, but He had to first go through the preparation of becoming a glory dispenser. You can’t prove a self that you have not become.

People naturally get attracted to result, instead of crying over the fact that your spouse doesn’t believe in you, or your parents, friends or people just don’t believe in you, use that emotion to build yourself for your assignment. Ants don’t get attracted to salt, they only gather around sugar, it is capital folly to be a salt and expect ants to gather around you. Do you want ants to gather around you, then become sugar!

It is important you know the way of the kingdom, the world may have to see before they believe, but you can’t have anything worthwhile to attract the attention of the world except you first believe. In the kingdom, believing is seeing, manifestation follows after faith.

Don’t prove a point, prove yourself!
