MAXIMIZED EXISTENCE – Part 1

MAXIMIZED EXISTENCE – Part 1

Worse than death is life not RIGHTLY and fully used. It is one thing to live, it is another thing to be alive. Living is a natural state of existence that is usually passive, but aliveness is a conscious state of existence that involves an active participation and deliberate contributions to life.

A man can be living but not truly alive. You must have heard the phrase, “A living dead” before, that is exactly the state of many people in our generation. A man on the hospital bed is still living, but as far as contribution to life is concerned he is not alive (active). A major difference between those who are merely living and those who are truly alive is, ‘PRODUCTIVITY.’ The former are usually consumers, the later produce. Truthfully, the wealth of the producers usually comes from the consumption of the consumers, and that explains why the masses will always be at the mercy of the producers.

Life was designed to be lived FULLY! Anything short of that is wasteful existence and it is wickedness. Jesus called the unproductive servant  a ‘wicked servant.’

“‘You wicked servant!’ the king roared.” Luke 19:22

God always wants whatever He has given us to be fully deployed here on earth because the real essence of creation can only be realized by full deployment of the life within. Jesus affirmed,

‘I brought glory to you here on earth by completing the work you gave me to do.’ John 17:4

God didn’t give you your breath just so you could occupy space. He hates unproductive existence. Jesus stated this through a parable He once told,

“A man planted a fig tree in his garden and came again and again to see if there was any fruit on it, but he was always disappointed. Finally, he said to his gardener, ‘I’ve waited three years, and there hasn’t been a single fig! Cut it down. It’s just taking up space in the garden.” Luke 13:6-7

That tree was living but not up to expectation, that is why it was cut down. A man who is not functioning according to God’s original intention for His life will always end up like that tree.

Now, to maximize existence goes beyond mere productivity, you can be wrongly productive. Jesus Christ said to God,

‘I brought glory to you here on earth by completing the work you gave me to do.’ John 17:4

A maximized existence begins with the discovery of the Essence Of Existence. The success of any product is to function according to the intention of the manufacturer. So anything outside your purpose is a misuse of some sort, even though God has a way of making all to function together for good, if you align with His purpose eventually.
